In celebration of The International Institute of Metropolitan Detroit (IIMD)’s 100 years anniversary we are glad to announce, The World’s Got Talent (TWGT) a concert presented by IIMD and The International Youth Leadership Organization at Wayne State University (WSU) in collaboration with other students’ organizations in high schools, colleges and universities of Southeastern Michigan, and The Ethnic Community from A-Albanian Americans to Z-Zambian Americans.
This fundraising event will take place on Sunday June 11, 2017 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at Community Arts Center located at 450 Reuther Mall WSU Detroit 48202. The Michigan Cultural Community is coming together to support our youth to feed children in war zones. The event proceeds will support local children organizations.
This concert is a showcase of world performing arts and exceptional talents from Michigan with a headlining performance by Sean Blackman, Composer/Producer/Performer of muliti-cultural world music. We are bringing together and gaining endorsement from area businesses, organizations, and institutions to support the efforts of the youth. TWGT will be broadcasted by local generated channels and social media, TWGT is one of many events launched by IIMD in celebration of its 100th anniversary, serving the community in immigration matters, social services and global education. We are proud to announce that IIMD is a United Way Agency and affiliate with 94 ethnic groups in the area. Together we are teaming to showcase the richness of diverse cultures in our “Nation of Nationalities” and help in raising fund for good causes.
